My name is Malwa, I am a sports psychologist. I help athletes to perform better in stressful situations. I was also a professional athlete, I trained hard and achieved a lot, but this journey did not benefit me anymore. Then I discovered yoga as a way to improve my relationship with my own body. Since then, my practice has been about understanding and respecting the limitations my body gives me. I completed my training in the roots of yoga - in India, where I also learned a therapeutic approach to wellbeing. I teach Hatha flow, strong flow vinyasa, yoga nidra and meditation classes. I combine strong movements with gentle stretching and strengthening breath.
In yoga I find the peace and refuge that is so often blocked these days. In my practice I look for suitable alternatives that will allow each student to perform their flow, to feel themselves and, above all, to listen to their body.

Hi, I’m Chantelle and I fell in love with yoga three years ago when a good friend of mine started teaching in Ipswich. I had never practiced yoga before and shyly went along to my first Vinyasa yoga class. What I experienced in that class was so profound and I knew in that moment that something had stirred deep within my soul like I was coming home to myself. When my yoga teacher moved away I struggled to find a Vinyasa class that had the flow I was looking for so I decided to complete my training and create my own.
I practiced my level one training with Being Yoga on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and I will continue to study my level two training towards the end of the year. I am looking forward to learning all I can about this ancient practice. I like to offer beautiful flowing vinyasa classes that focus on moving with the breath and coming together as a collective to experience that feeling that yoga keeps us coming back for.
My classes are very beginner friendly and offer a range of asanas, breath work yin style and meditation. I like my students to walk out feeling better than when they walked into class! Yoga truely is a transformative practice that changes not only our lives but the lives around us as well.

I started practicing in my 20s now I’m in my very late 40s. Over the years I have had some amazing teachers. It was these amazing people who inspired me through their love of yoga and the practice itself that I felt the call to learn more.
I facilitate in a trauma informed yoga. Where I invited you to move in a way that suits you and your needs and rest when needed. I am there holding the space, making sure you are safe and supported.
My classes are for all levels, I am able to adjust the class on the spot if I feel it needs to be changed. This could be due to class size, injuries or energy levels.
I have been collecting modelites that I feel aligned with and I am always on a new training course.
